Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the martial arts or horror types. Her style and approach are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies that have a twisted fascination. After earning some recognition through the channels that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to write reviews in late 2009. Beginning in early 2015 she was on the site while Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts via her channel both covering the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
